Yaser B. is an award-winning Saudi filmmaker recognized for his compelling storytelling and creative vision. With scholarships from the Saudi Film Commission, he honed his craft at USC and BFI. His feature film Junoon, co-directed with his brother Maan, received international acclaim and is streaming on Netflix.

Yaser directed a short film that won the “Wai” regional award, and his work spans government and commercial projects, including high-profile Riyadh Season campaigns.

Recently, he was selected as one of eight writers in the Red Sea SeriesLab, This exclusive 7-month intensive program provides invaluable access to masterclasses with international industry experts and accomplished TV showrunners, offering Yaser a unique opportunity to develop his Crime/Dark comedy TV Series.

He also manages Moadaty, a peer-to-peer platform making filmmaking gear rentals accessible to creatives across Saudi Arabia.
